Shaelee has over 20 years’ experience in economic development and organisation strategy. As the Director of Community and Economy at Muswellbrook Shire Council she is responsible for the economic diversification of the region, to prepare it for future opportunities which attract investment, support the growth of local business and improve liveability.
Before moving to the Hunter, to take up a role at Maitland City Council, Shaelee delivered transformational projects on the Gold Coast including light rail, revitalisation of the Gold Coast CBD, the vision for Surfers Paradise, developing Gold Coast Chinatown, and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
