The caravan and camping sector is vitally important to the New South Wales visitor economy, with 4.68 million overnight trips in the state at year end December 2022 and creating 17.3 million visitor nights. These visitors spend more than $3.1 billion whilst they travel which in turn supports local economies, job creation and regional communities.
